International Vascular Course, Cork, Ireland – 1st & 2nd November 2018

This bespoke course is geared towards vascular surgical trainees and practicing vascular surgeons who wish to develop their skills in open surgical dissection as well as in endovascular procedures.

Participants will gain hands-on experience with open surgical dissection and reconstruction procedures on cadavers in our state-of-the-art purpose built facility. The simulated operating rooms feature integrated audiovisual facilities to allow for real time and post-procedure feed back from expert faculty.  There will be 2-3 participants per cadaver.

Day 2 of the course will focus on endovascular procedures - Aortic and peripheral interventions ranging from basic to more challenging cases on Mentice Simulators.

Pre-course reading material will be provided.
