The Rouleaux Club–Edinburgh Surgery Online Scholarship for ChM in Vascular & Endovascular Surgery

The University of Edinburgh offers two Masters Scholarships to eligible Rouleaux Club members enrolled in the ChM in Vascular & Endovascular Surgery distance learning programme.

Each scholarship will have a total value of £2,500 and will be awarded in the second year of study on the basis of academic merit. Candidates must have performed satisfactorily in Year 1 of the ChM in Vascular & Endovascular Surgery and must be a current member of the Rouleaux Club to be eligible for the award. The Scholarship will be deducted from the recipients annual tuition fee in Year 2.

Notification
The scholarship will be awarded to the two Rouleaux Club members with the best performance in Year 1. The Board of Examiners (comprising the Programme Director, Year Directors and eTutors for the ChM in Vascular & Endovascular Surgery and the external examiner) will meet in September to select the recipientsAny eligible members who enrolled in September 2018 would be notified of the outcome of this decision in September 2019.

ChM in Vascular & Endovascular Surgery 
The two year Masters programme, taught entirely online, is delivered by the University of Edinburgh in partnership with The Royal College of Surgeons, and leads to the degree of Master of Surgery (ChM).  Based on the UK Intercollegiate Surgical curriculum, the programme provides a structured approach to preparing for the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) examination. Through in-depth study, participants will be able to improve their evidence-based knowledge and enhance their clinical practice.
